Hey mama.
I want you to know something. It is OKAY to feel the way you are feeling. And yes, it’s totally normal.
No, you will not always feel this way.
Yes! It will get easier!
You might have tried a million things to “get your act together.”
If you could just get up a little earlier and get your morning routine perfect. Or find the right planner to keep you on track.
You keep bootstrapping and hustling and at the end of the day, you’re exhausted and counting down the minutes until bedtime…
You spend all of your time taking care of others. You have a deep desire to be a good wife, a good mom, to show up for your family and give your best every day.
But you’re worn out. Burnt out. Wondering if it’s okay to want a little time to take care of yourself, too...
The answer is YES.
In fact, it’s crucial. Self care is the answer. But the messages and methods marketers are selling to you as self care are doing way more harm than good.
Rather than nourishing your body, you end up overloading it with toxins and chemicals that your liver and kidneys have to work on overdrive to break down.
Rather than building up your mind and spirit, you end up spending too much money on something fleeting that inevitably leaves you more tired, frustrated and broke.
I’m inviting you to try something new.
I believe that REAL self care is doing specific things that truly nourish your mind, body and spirit so that you can step into the complete and empowered human you were created to be.
Hi. I’m Katherinne Joy. I’m a mother of four. I live on a farm in the middle of nowhere in Alberta Canada.
8 years ago, I was not in a good place. I wanted to stay home and raise my children, but I didn’t realize that was a much more difficult job than I ever thought it could be.
When I had my first child, it was blissful. She was an easy baby. Everything was simple. I thought I had it all figured out. I got this motherhood thing down! Then I became pregnant with my second child…
I was snappy and miserable and needy. I chalked it up to hormones. I figured once the baby came, everything would even out and I would be fine.
Once again I was blessed with a very happy, easy baby. But I felt like a crazy person to be perfectly honest. I was miserable to my kids. I was miserable to my husband. It got to a point where I was begging my husband to stay home from work because I felt so overwhelmed being home with my babies by myself.
I knew that something needed to change. I started looking for solutions and got started on a wellness journey. I invested into learning more about how to take care of myself, so I could take care of the people around me.
